We are delighted to announce that construction has officially commenced on a new storey building that will house modern Science Laboratories and an ICT Centre at Ilutitun Comprehensive High School (ICGS). The contract was awarded in late 2025, and contractors have now fully mobilized to the site.
A Vision Realized Through CSR
This transformative project was supported by the family of the late Barrister Clement Arikawe through Triple Cure Assembly, as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the Nigeria Revenue Service. Once completed, this facility will have dedicated laboratories for Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and ICT.
The President, Professor Samuel Alaba Akinwotu, has visited the site multiple times to inspect the massive excavation work currently underway.
"I extend my heartfelt appreciation for initiating a state-of-the-art ICT and Science building at ICGS... Despite the loss of your son, Barr. Clement Arikawe, the pioneer project initiator, the Arikawe family ensured the project didn't stall but came to fruition—a testament to the late Barrister's vision. He has left an indelible mark."
This project stands as a beacon of progress, ensuring that ICGS remains a center of excellence for generations to come.
